Saw an episode of 60 minutes a year or so ago about using polio to treat cancer...apparently it was working in some cases...pretty incredible and encouraging....

Hi Ktheodos, I read something about polio being a treatment for cancer too, hopefully this means medical science is getting really close to defeating cancer once and for all!

Glad to see several options to combat cancer rather than chemo... Another interesting cancer treatment is immunotherapy.. My industrial computer control professor (PLC) was real adamant on the progress of immunotherapy

Hi Liquidfire_43, Yeah chemo has to be done away with! It's really bad for the human body and many times cancer comes back again. I haven't heard of immunotherapy sounds like it might be along the lines of what the article I left a link to speaks of. I'm just happy that serious progress is FINALLY being made!
