Never had stuff mushrooms... I did try stuffed potato at one point... Not many restaurants around my area have stuff mushrooms (even if they do it is very small portion for a hefty price)... Might as well make it myself

I absolutely loved stuffed mushrooms. They're one of my favorite treats at restaurants, and they're really easy to make at home. You just need some large mushrooms and to carve out the stem part then stuff them with whatever you like, seafood dip is a nice choice, sprinkled with a little cheese on top, rice with a little bit of garlic and onion. Really it's hard to go too wrong.

I love stuffed mushrooms especially stuffed with cream cheese!  I love escargot stuffed in mushrooms served on garlic toast, also!
Have a wonderful day!

I love ems. I always ordered them at the restaurant. Pretty little things on a party table buffet. What kind of fill you put-em, you have a recipe for these treats? Do you like stuffed mushrooms?  Have a gr8 day  :present:
Cream cheese and bread crumbs (or crackers). I keep it simple and yummy.

I found the most wonderful recipe for stuffed mushrooms. I use portabello mushrooms because they are thick, sturdy and they hold up well to oven temperatures. I wash the mushrooms down with a damp cloth (i don't put them under running water because they absorb water like a sponge!) and then scoop out the dark brown fillets. Then I fill them with finely chopped onions, ham, garlic, breadcrumbs and top them with grated parmezan cheese and a little panko crispy breadcrumbs. I bake them for 20-25 minutes in a medium oven, or you can grill them.

I love mushrooms period. I love ordering stuffed mushrooms at restaurants. What you just described is sometimes offered in the deli section of my grocery store and they look sooo good. I get them every now and then in summer for the grill.

Oooh that sounds sooo goood!

I just had a filling supper, and you bring this up ha ha ha!

It is something I will have to try to make myself, but  there is a Chinese place across the town that I am sure make them much better than I might try to make.

Yeah, love mushrooms :)
