I really feel like there is more mud slanging and no answers of how to fix our problems. This country is in trouble.

I love to watch the debates though!  I find them highly entertaining!

It's unfortunate that politics has become entertainment but it definitely has.

That's because if we knew how they stand on real issues, they wouldn't get any votes! I don't watch the debates, but I know for years that the tactic has been personal attacks on the other candidates, rather than the various candidates proving they are the best person for the job by their view of the real issues facing this country.

The campaigning tactics make me ill.  The media doesn't help this.

American politics has been choosing the lesser of two evils for over 100 years and it's a shame. "They're both awful, but this one is less awful." What is that?! We need more parties and to stop treating campaigns like a high school popularity contest.

It's easier to figure out who is worth voting for is you watch what they do, rather than what they say.
OpenSecrets.org is a good place to start.

And voting for the lesser evil is still voting for evil.

what makes me so sick is the  billions, these politicians are spending to become president! Think of how many problems can be solved in the US alone, i we could use that money to the right things!

it does seem like a waste of money.
when the candidate runs out of money, he has to bow out.
politics has become a stage game.
we have not had a genuine president in a long time.
it has become a puppet act.
some people don't like Trump. Lots of people do.
he is bold, sees what needs to be changed, has power and money.
he has used money for good.
Most other candidates have hidden agendas, with the exception of Rand Paul [another good guy].
Someone said that she has to watch the debates to decide who she will vote for.
Hey, a smooth talker is not president material. When I told her that I didn't listen to the debates, she asked me how I would decide who to vote for. I told her that I research the candidates on my own. Most media is corrupted and portray a slanted view. There are people with the real news out there and I listen to them.

Just as Bernie Sanders have stated. He can make it the front page of a newspaper if he slanders a candidate. He doesn't choose to do so against Hillary Clinton in a democrat debate (on her email scandal). That is why I respect Bernie, because he is a candidate that is issue orientated... Trump is getting a lot of attention due to his outrageous remarks over social media... It reminds me of how news gets most of it's viewer base... Murder, death, racial conflict, etc are the top headliners... Good news don't get address that much, because it doesn't grab the viewers attention as bad news
