I would love to hear if people make money with ebooks and if so approximately how much. I've thought about it because I love to write. Maybe I'll work on a short story and go from there.

I've never done it, but I've heard of a couple of ways to do so... The first is to write an actual e-book and sell it (the way that most people probably think about for this topic). The second way is to write more of a pamphlet than a true book. It doesn't even need to be all that good. The key is to charge very little for the book, but marketing it heavily; if it is very inexpensive, people are willing to "give it a try" even if they no nothing more than the title of the book. The first method relies on quality of the material whereas the second method relies on the quantity of people willing to buy it. I've seen some pretty horrid "make money online" e-books that basically say to copy the book, and sell it online for yourself.

I have never heard of this. Years ago it would have been something I would have been very interested in as I used to love writing. I just don't have a lot of extra time anymore.
