Why we need best friends

Because they laugh at the same stupid things we do
Because they give us honest advice
Because they will  be there for us, even if they are thousands of miles away
Because they celebrate with us when we're at our best but still loves us at our worse

My best friends are both so far away and I miss them so much. Oh I have other friends but not those 2  they have been with me through thick and thin.  I know if someone hurts me they will be behind me saying someone is going to get it.  We are 3 tight women. Even though I have moved when I do get to go down south it is like we have never been apart and our husbands just kind of roll their eyes and say there they go again.

I have two best friends who I love with all my heart.  Both have been with me during my cancer, giving me support, love, and being there 100%.  I don't know what I would do without them.

My best friend lives in Vegas which is very far from me... She knows EVERYTHING there is to know about me... I wouldn't trade her for the world!

i agree with all the comments they are hard to find so when you do find them hold them dearly in your heart

So true. We do need a confidant who can be there to help us through the thick and thin.

I agree it's always good to have a constant in your life esp. when things are falling apart. Someone needs to be there to pick you up.

There are always pros and cos of having good friends but the good outweighs the bad. I am glad my best friends all live outside of town because if they do live in town, I won't be able to do anything productive around the house or anything with my immediate family. Yup sometimes, I need a break from them.

I live next door to my best friend now and we always think back over our past 25 years as friends and just laugh at some of the things we have done.
