Is this day a good day to take a walk outdoors?

It is nice here, my cat walks outside with me today, not raining. Here, don't snow, but does get cold. Do you take a walk outdoors in the winter time where you live? The air smells so good after the rain. I do remember the air when I went to the snow cold. Have a gr8 day

I do like to have my windows open when it is not so cold, but as far as taking a quick walk outside when we have had snow or frost, I'm afraid I would have to pass because I am worried about slipping on the ice. Having said that, a couple of days ago the temperatures here bobbed up temporarily and it crossed my mind that I might want to be planting my tomato and pepper seeds into pots some time soon. I don't mind it being a little chilly outside because whilst the plants are still young, I leave them on the window ledge to maximize on the warmth from the sun.

It is a bad day to take a walk where I live. We got about 4 inches of snow and will be getting a lot more tomorrow.

       It is not a good day to go for a walk outdoors...because where I live there is still snow on the ground. It is simply too slippery. What we do where we live when there is still too much snow outdoors, we do all our walking inside shopping malls. Bring some walking shoes (no winter boots)...and start walking. Walk and walk!!!

It's cold here in Colorado but I get outside for a run almost every single day regardless. If I didn't go out in the cold/winter I would miss about 3-4 months of being outside.

No, I love walking my dog outside but today was not the best. It was misting and chilly and we're suppose to get snow but right now the dreary, cold weather is making me want to stay inside. Stay warm!

I think that just about every day is a great day to take a walk out doors-even if it is raining or snowing. I have two large Golden Retrievers and they get a walk every morning at four in the morning and every night when I get home from my first job. Typically the walks are between twenty to thirty minutes. While they are doing their business and getting their sniffing done I am able to reflect on the day's work, the work ahead of me in the evening, and sort out anything that may be bothering me. All of this and the exercise helps get the circulation going between my desk jockey assignments. I am also given fresh air, able to take in the beauty of the seasons and always chuckle as I watch my two dogs having fun in the park.

You might be able to get a brisk walk in if you do it early here today.  It is 22° right now.  It is supposed to start snowing in a couple of hours and not quit for a couple of days.

Today where I live would not be a good day to walk around outside.  We have had an ice storm so everything is covered with ice.

12 inches of snow here already - not a good day to take a walk outdoors. Unless you have a shovel.

It's 46 degrees, kind of dark & rainy......if I had a dog, it would be a definite walk-day.  (My dogs enjoyed wearing rain coats on rainy walks). 

Instead, I'm inside today...cleaning & baking a loaf of banana bread.

A brisk walk always clears my head, and yes I always try to take a walk whenever possible, even in winter.
