I'm single so I'll probably buy myself some chocolate after the holiday when it's on sale

Whatever I want and since we have been married for 38 years I usually don't want much because he gives me everything I need through out the year.  Love him so much, just like yesterday he brought me a new phone.

A valentine.  My valentine passed in 2013.  I really miss him and most of the time I don't know if I want to even think about having anyone else after a 34 year marriage but then I think sometimes life is too short to live the rest of it alone.     It sounds like you have a wonderful and blessed relationship with your husband thanks for sharing.

I stopped celebrating Valentines Day decades ago when I went into a restaurant with my boyfriend and the tables were so packed together I felt like I may aswell have been sat on the street! The waitresses kept pushing past my chair in order to get to the tables behind me and I got so annoyed, I vowed to never go out for dinner again on Valentines Day. It was such a shame because the restaurant itself was really nice. I recall there being an aquarium under the floor in the foyer which was spectacular!

Nothing. I'm single so I don't have to think about Valentine's day.

Nothing in particular. Valentine's Day is not a big deal in our household. My hubby and I might go out to dinner because we're long overdue, but it wouldn't be on that particular day. I can just imagine all the crowds. It would probably be before or after.
