I used to have Gevalia delivered, but after I found that I could buy it at the store, I stopped my subscription. And now I only get that on special occasions; more often I just buy a flavored Folgers instead.

Knowing that drinking the gourmet coffee doesn't really help me feel special because I see it as a NECESSITY.  I live by the motto: "Life is too short to drink cheap coffee".   The past year, I've been trying the organic coffees.  I haven't found one that I'm really crazy about yet though...

Every morning my husband makes a pot of delicious Starbucks French Vanilla by using a carafe and dripping the hot water through the coffee in a filter. Boy, does it ever taste good! It is a treat to get up every morning at our house because of it.

I really enjoy coffee and can see the benefits of both instant and ground coffee. I like instant because it is quick to make and doesn't require any brewing time, I think it tastes pretty good (especially with a dash of half-and-half) and so if short on time, this is ideal for me. But if I'm not at home, I like to order real coffee with plain cream. I know there are some fancy flavored coffees and creams out there but I like to taste the coffee just as it was meant to be, coffee flavored! Strangely, I have found the best coffee which is not sold at a proper coffee house like Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts, it is McDonalds coffee! In fact, I like it so much I have recently bought a bag of real ground McCafe coffee from Walmart to go with my french press. I'm lovin' it!!
