There is a fish soup I am going to try, it is posted on fusioncash paid to click recipe/soup title, had coconut milk and a lot of herbs with fish. I read the soup of the day there at the fusioncash paid to click opportunity spot. yummy I like different kinds of soups.

If I am making it myself quickly, I usually like Campbell's Tomato or Cream of Chicken -- both made with milk rather than water and if I have them, Cheeze-It crackers in the tomato soup.  If someone else is making it, I prefer a homemade chicken noodle (I am not that great to make it myself).

If I am going out to eat, there is a local restaurant that always has fantastic potato knoepfle soup (potatoes and dumplings in a thick chicken flavored stock).  If you ever pass through northern Ohio = look for Berardi's Family Kitchen in Sandusky, Ohio on Perkins Avenue and try a cup or bowl!   Always the best!

I also really like the potato soup at Outback Steakhouse. I have seen a few recipe books where the author has been able to replicate certain signature menu items from some popular restaurant franchise chains by reverse engineering.  I am hoping that the Outback soup recipe makes it into a future edition!

The only canned soup I really like is Campbell's Bean and Bacon. I add things to it to make it more me.

I love home-made soup. I froze so much broccoli from the garden last fall, I am making another batch of broccoli and cheese when family comes by next week.

I live in Wisconsin, and the weather now screams "Make SOUP!"  How can I not?

I love the potato soup too, in the slow cooker.  I made us cabbage (from our garden also) roll soup this fall (with beef), and man....good, good.

Can't take the credit, as these started out someone else's recipe, which I season to our taste.

Stay warm everyone, enjoy the foods of the season while winter is here. Soup isn't much fun in summer...ha ha!

Publix supermarket had broccoli vermont cheddar soup today but by the time I got there they were all out so I went by a local restaurant and got loaded potato soup which wasn't very loaded but it was good.

My favorite kind of soups are homemade Chicken soup and brocolli and cheese soup. I do make this wonderful carrot and ginger soup which is so easy to make. You fry some onions and garlic, add ginger and carrots plus some flavorful chicken stock and just let it simmer for an hour. Once the oils from the ginger and onions start to float on top of the soup you know it is ready to take off the boil. I blend it until it is smooth and add a dollop of sour cream and cilantro. It is so tasty. I make a huge batch and then freeze some.

This sounds so good, I definitely am going to try to make ginger carrot soup... can't wait! :)

My favorite is homemade vegetable soup like my mother used to make!  She called it "sink soup" because she put everything in it but the kitchen sink!
