I had a tooth pulled yesterday and it is still bleeding, is that normal?

Wrong forum section.  BUT

Getting a tooth pulled can be a big deal.  They can bleed for a few days after being extracted.  If they packed the cavity (hole) with gauze, leave it in and only change it when instructed.  Do NOT drink using a straw as this can cause the clot to dislodge and it may start bleeding again.  You should also be very careful not to chew or eat with that part of your mouth till the swelling has gone down.
