Wild birds are observed today. It is very cold out there, so I am interested in what kind of bird you see this time of the year? I my part of the woods, I live in a city, I see blue jays, sparrows, turtle doves, these tiny birds smaller than the hummingbirds, and I have the hummingbird feeder still out because I see hummingbirds are still hungry. Do you feed the wild birds because it is winter time?  Continued: lol, we have Hawks, Seaguils, Crows, we have woodpeckers, I hear them no see. Have a gr8 bird watching day  :present:

I live on the south side, so during the winter here, it doesn't really get that cold like up north. The kind of birds I get to see are Turkey Vultures, Carolina wrens, Northern Cardinals, Budgies, Bald Eagle, Black Vultures, Wood Storks, Florida Scrub jay's, Blue Heron, Cattle Egret, Great White Heron, White Ibis, Ring Billed Gull and Magnificent Scovery Bird and that's just to name a few.   ;)

Here in the Southwest we get many morning doves and woodpeckers.  I love the woodpeckers most of all because I catch them "stealing" some of the dry cat food I leave out for the strays.  They are quite amusing and I have learned that the male has a beautiful bright red spot on the top of his head while the female has none.

We have downy woodpeckers, cardinals, blue jays, juncos, flickers, and sometimes the pheasants come in to see what's under the bird feeder.

Not really sure what birds are winter birds but I'll still see the "evergreens" I.e. seaguls, the tit mouse, crows, and pigeons.

Not many birds around here in the winter time, some crows and that's about it, too cold, geese migrating that's about it.

I see ravens and sea hawks this time of the year. And Canadian geese near ponds and lakes. During spring and summer, I see pigeons in the park. But I do not know where pigeons live during wintertime.

We just spotted finches in the front yard pecking at the ground this morning. We have red cardinals, hawks, crows and mockingbirds.

In Michigan I see, sparrows, red cardinals, chickadees and blue jays. I'm pretty sure there are other birds flying around out there, but these are the ones I see (pay attention to) the most.
