Sometimes. A certain day of the week doesn't feel like that day whenever it follows a holiday, day-off from school, or a wedding, funeral, or vacation.

They don't throw me off schedule too much, but I like the break in the routine.

Yes especially when school is out, I get confused as to what day it is.

Absolutely! I love taking a break and enjoying the holidays but coming back to a schedule can be tough the first few days. Yesterday, I kept thinking "is it only Monday". LOL

Having a day off from one job usually means that I can work twice as hard at the other job.  The teams at the company that pays for a holiday off generally become very scattered and production levels go way down.  Management does not seem to care and it makes it hard for me to focus on my work. One good thing about holidays is that useless meetings are minimized. I had to take two weeks in December or I would lose the vacation benefit. It was really kind of nice.  I spent time with my family and was only working about ten hours a day. It was really rough going back to work last Monday though. I spent one day returning phone calls and e-mails, another day planning the week and determining project completion points, and the last three days dealing with system issues.

Most of the time I'm not affected by holidays and just go about my regular schedule.

Yes somewhat. Any time my normal routine is altered it messes me up.

When there is a holiday or 2 days off in a row because of a holiday, does it throw your week off? I find myself sometimes asking, what day is today.
Yes! That happened after MLK weekend.
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

Oh yeah... it takes a while to shake it off too, huh? I feel like things are normal now.

With one of my jobs, yes.  They don't tell us in advance exactly what days we will be getting off.  The way they see it, if you have to work then you get paid for it & work comes before family time.  It's aggravating because I really can't plan anything in advance.
