FireFox went bonkers on me Again
« on: December 30, 2015, 07:40:24 am »
This time it refuses to allow me to log in to FC.  It keeps stating I timed out. How can I time out when I'm not logged in????? This has been going on for weeks. The message keeps telling me I should enable cookies. They are enabled.

I'm so tired of FireFox not working right.  I guess the only thing I can do is un-install and re-install AGAIN. I just may forget it altogether since it will only go bonkers on me again.

I have firefox installed but I mainly use safari and chrome. I have had off and on problems with all of them but never what you are describing. I use safari for my daily email without problems and then I go to chrome for my paid to click and videos.

My computer is old and I can not use safari for some things because it can no longer be updated. I watch videos using chrome and it works ok a lot of time but other times, the videos cause my computer to crash. I can not tell if it is because my computer is old or the problem is with my ISP.

Maybe you can take a look at the following article and see if you can figure it out:

Sorry to hear bout your problems with ff.  They've been my fav for years.  But since receiving a Chromebook as a gift, chrome is all i use.  Seems like there were more settings somewhere to allow cookies.   ???

I've also had problems with FireFox.  I used to have problems with it not only crashing but also freezing up.  I could not even X it out or close it.  lately it's been better.

I used to love Firefox but I was having so many issues like that trying to do surveys. I've since switched to Chrome and it's much faster with less issues.

You should probably try using Google Chrome, I don't ever seem to have any issues with Google Chrome, but I do recall having some issues when using FireFox, so I no longer use it when I'm on FusionCash.

If it's saying you timed out it might not be firefox and might be something else you have installed on your computer preventing firefox from doing what it should be doing when you have it up

I just made the switch to Chrome 2 weeks ago. I had tried it before on an older computer and had a lot of problems with it. Since I have a much newer one it's working really well. I had been using FF for a few years but it was really starting to lag on my new computer. The only thing I use FF for now is for RL because in Chrome it crashes too much.

Too many ads pop up every couple of seconds when I used to use ff, so now I use gc.

I've been getting a message from Firefox almost every day that says, "Firefox seems slow to start." Then I have to refresh it.  :dontknow:

I thought is was just my computer but it sounds like more than that, now that I'm listening to all of you having problems.  :angry7:

I use to have issues when using Firefox so I decided to stop using it while on FC and now I only use Google Chrome.
