Yay! White Stuff!

I love winter....love the frost, the snow on the barren trees, the clean cold air.

So far this late fall/early winter has been a disaster here in Wisconsin. Lots of rain, and lots more rain.

Today, Winter Storm Goliath (I think aptly named) has just hit in this last hour.

The wind is howling, blowing fiercely, and there is snow swirling around everywhere. Supposed to get 3-5 inches.

I am quite happy.

Oh man it hit hard here in N.M. the freeway was closed from Amarillo tx. to Albuquerque N.m.  Just opened againabout 10 a.m.. People were gripping as to why it was closed all the way. But all we have are small towns between the two lagre cities and can only absorb so many people. they opened up the convention center  for stranded people along with meals also the Baptist Church served meals too. We were snowed in with 5 ft. drifts and  didn't dug out into late this morning. Then was not really safe. Don't have storms this bad often. But now we have another coming in Tuesday night. Hopefully not as bad.

I like Winter too.  Snow are good for me to watch but not to clean   Happy Holiday to all.

My cat wanted outside so I let her outside she came back in the house with a look on her face goodness it is cold out there. I laughed and asked her if she wanted to go outside she seemed to say no thanks and please don't make me.

I think there won't be any snow in the north east this year.

today was not fun with the sleet rain and snow it was a bad commute hoe and we lost poer

I hate it and have to somehow get over my fear of driving on it.  As last year I has a bad accident

I wish it snowed here in Southern California. It's gotten down to about 34 and it's rained...not quite snowing, but it's getting close. Here's hoping...

I love the smell of the cold clean air but not so much the snow.  It's pretty coming down and to look at but not to drive in if there's ice underneath like we normally get in area.  Hope you enjoy the snow.

No snow here but we have more rain in the forecast
forecast and the Mississippi river is supposed to flood it is currently at 28.6 feet flood stage is 34.0 feet and by the 9th  it's expected to be at 43.5 feet

I guess as long as you are not shoveling or driving to work in it huh then it's wonderful
