That is a good question...I am new to this site and it seems a little overwhelming compared to what I am used to.

The only membership levels are in the Forum and they depend on how many posts you made, but everyone gets paid the same.

To the newbies, I felt overwhelmed, too, when I first joined, but it only took  three or four days for me to get acquainted.  What helped me more than anything was watching the tutorials. You can find them on the "Earn Cash" page in the right greenish-yellow column.  Discovering all the different ways to make money is part of the fun!  And if you have questions, ask in the forum.  Members here are always eager and happy to help newcomers.

I went to look at a couple of the tutorial videos and it was hard to believe it's been over 5 years since I made them. A few cosmetic changes have been made since then, but the basic concepts are still the same. Thanks for the reminder Patty.

As previously stated, the membership levels are only for the forum and do not affect your earnings.  But as a newbie and you mentioned it being confusing I do suggest using the forum a lot and especially any time you have questions.  There are some really helpful, genuine people here.  You'll get the hang of it soon and don't get discouraged.

In other words you could have been a member of FC for years and have made a million dollars here, if you have never posted in the forum, you are still a "Newbie".  It has nothing to do with earnings.

and on the other hand you could have not made one cent here but spent all your time posting away ..... ya thia newbie and such doesn't mean anything when it comes to howq much you've made or how long you have been here

AND you can earn a few more dollars as you learn!  It is overwhelming until you get the hang of it, but once you are comfortable, be sure to be ACTIVE in the forums as that can earn you an extra $3 each month!!!

Thank you for all the responses and encouragement. I don't mind if the levels have monetary rewards attatched. Levels do help one reach for a goal that helps when things might be going well.

There's no monetary reward for different levels. The reward is whatever money you earn on FC.
