Cell phone venting
« on: December 21, 2015, 02:51:36 pm »
Why does my cell always ring when i am in an area that drops calls? Why do people seem to call when I am in the bathroom? Have you noticed any annoying cell phone issues?

That's why I have Voice Mail, if I knew it was a dropped call area (I don't have those) I would just not answer and check for a message later.

Yes this always happens to me. I just let it ring and I will return the call when I can. And if it's important enough like oldbuddy said they'll leave a message.

It is almost always the doc office with results and they wont leave messages. Sigh. We end up playing phone tag for days. Good times.

That wouldn't happen to me, my Doc leaves test results on a website that I can access anytime day or night. Maybe you should get your Doc to join the modern world?

I think it is disgusting, unsanitary, and stupid to be on your cell phone when you are going to the bathroom :bad: :bad: :bad: 8)

Most of the time they want to "discuss" the results,  they think you are to stupid to interpret them,  otherwise they would just stick a copy in the mail (or e-mail).  I always have to ask for a copy.

The phone will finally ring with call I have been waiting for (and usually it is from the Vet) right when my hands are full, hands are covered mud or such,  or I am where there is so much noise I can't hear a thing.  Murphy's Law on how to get a phone to ring!

That's why I hardly ever use my phone to talk to people... I'd rather just text so that I can read whenever I get a chance instead of whenever the other person decides to call. If someone does call, I just let it go to voice-mail; if it's important, they'll leave a message.

They usually leave a message. Or call back.  Only work and the kids use my cell, they all know to call back.

I always leave them.  If important they'll call back, if not they will try again later. :)
