Hobbies

I love to read, watch movies, lounge on the couch, talk to certain people, work out, spend time with my kids, eat out, travel, shop, and goal plan.

I crochet, quilt, play piano, play video games, read, knit, go to the gym, bake cookies, and volunteer at church.

I am an avid reader.  I have always enjoyed reading.  I also make scented candles when I am in the mood. I may see something, buy it, then put it aside.  I love repurposing.

I also like to read and do puzzles, particularly logic puzzles. I also like to knit and crochet and to run for about an hour at least 4 times a week.

I would rather read then watch TV, although there are a few shows I do like. I do some hand painting on gourds, sewing. Believe it or not I like helping hubby cut and gather fire wood. Gets me out of the house. Then there is fishing when it is not so hot. But time is getting more limited the older I get. I have to do things for my dad as he is getting older.

A friend of mine made the most wonderful mini-christmas tree out of pine cone needles. She gently pulled apart the pine cone and re-glued the needles onto a cone shaped piece of cardboard which she bought from the store. I thought it was so wonderful I gave it a try. Except I didn't make a Christmas tree, I made a huge 6 inch Christmas tree ornament in the shape of a ball! It looks really rustic and wonderful and I can't wait to use it next year. The only thing I had to buy were the glue sticks! Isn't it amazing what you can make out of things from nature.

My problem is I have a bunch of hobbies I dabble in from time to time but none that really excite me and I want to do on a regular basis spending a good deal of time.  I actually wish I had an interest like that.  You know how some people seem to be passionate about certain things?  I have never developed a long-term interest such as that.

I seem to spend most of my free time trying to earn money online or on my phone.  In the summer time, I spend a lot of time with my family at Cedar Point.  In the winter time, my daughter and I like to play a few different games on our Wii.  I also enjoy genealogy as a hobby, but I don't ever seem to have enough time to do any serious digging.
