No resolutions. I don't need an arbitrary date to make changes...

I don't usually make any new year resolutions...
In the past I've done the standard "lose weight"/"get healthier"...but as many others before me have said, I don't wait to make changes to my life anymore..

I usually start listing my resolutions at the beginning of October. I have a desk planner that is quarterly and I write down improvements that I would like to make on the last page of December. It is easy to quantify financial goals and I generally aim for a ten to fifteen percent increase over the previous year. I look at what has failed in the previous year and aim to do it better. My goals generally center around Family, Physical, Mental and financial. I am just about to surpass my financial goals from last year (two weeks early) but didn't hit the physical improvements that I had hoped to. I discovered new ways to achieve different goals more efficiently this year and will strive to set aside time to just think and breathe.

I gave up making resolutions, they never seem to last then I feel guilty for giving up. This year i will just set goals and try to stick to certain things, if I can do it great, if not I will keep working on them.

I find that works best, good luck!

normally I do the usual, lose weight..save money (never seems to work)..this year I've decided just to try to do the best I can without resolutions so that way I don't feel as bad if they don't work out lol

Oh my goodness, we are so alike in these ways!! I am a HUGE planner and I too start preparing for the new year in October, which I hear is the Equinox.  Good luck with everything!

I find that a broad goal such as this one is more obtainable since there is no specific action expected to be taken, good luck!

I don't make resolutions at the new year, but make plans for improvement all year long.

I do the same thing so when others are just starting to work on their goals I'm already progressing in mine.  It makes me feel accomplished even if I'm slacking lol
