Progressive Insurance with Flo

People instantly recognize Flo and associate her with progressive. Why give that up? She may be annoying, but from a business standpoint, there's no reason to replace her.

Flo has outlived her usefulness. I absolutely cringe each time I perform the daily $0.15 e-mail. I always have my computer set to 'mute' so I do not have to hear her irritating voice. As for the commercials, Progressive really needs to take a page from Geico. They certainly need to have a new spokesperson.

Keep in mind that we don't have access to the reports indicating how well the advertising is working. It just may be that for every person that cringes, a couple of others reach for the phone because the logic of what they are saying finally sunk in. As long as I keep getting rewarded for participating here, I could give Flo a big smooch of appreciation.
