I'm sure they'll bill it as workplace violence, instead of a terrorist attack, which it really is. But of course, if the perps were white conservative males, it would be all over the news as domestic terrorism. The double standards today are really sickening.
I'm actually surprised that people still think more gun control would fix anything. California is one of the strictest states already for gun control, but that sure didn't save anybody. Isn't it funny that the same people who say we can't judge all Muslims by a few terrorists, judge and want to punish all gun owners by the actions of a few madmen.

The shootings need to/have to stop.  Too many innocent people are losing their lives at such a young age.  All these school shootings has escalated, people being killed for so many stupid reasons.

I was shocked when I turned on the news and seen there was yet another multi victim shooting. this one was in San Bernardino  California. it says 14 people were killed and over a dozen injured. my prayers go out to the families involved

WHY were you shocked?  This is a weekly occurrence.  It shouldn't shock anyone to hear bad news these days.

tnis is getting to be almost a weekly thing when is the president going to wake up and get that gun law and not  let the NRA rule

The president is an idiot.  And gun control is NOT the answer.  Taking guns from the law abiding citizens is not going to do anything but make this sort of thing happen more often.  In case you haven't noticed the criminals are not obeying the law.  They also are not going to turn in any guns they have.  And another FYI the place where that shooting took place - yeah, it's a gun free zone.  So maybe they should have had more signs.  Or maybe one of the good law abiding citizens should have had a gun and they could have taken him out after his first shot.

Turned on tv last night and all I could think is "Again".  No not religious terrorist but disgruntled employee and wife.

You don't seriously think this was just a disgruntled employee, do you?

The perps also had a remote controlled car with explosives strapped to it. If the President and the anti-gun left think that more laws would have saved any lives in this shooting, I guess we should have responsible RC-car background checks to prevent crazy people from turning them into bombs too (and this isn't too absurd of a thought when you consider that Britain is trying to enact knife laws -- may as well outlaw anything that can be weaponized). And BTW, the shooters had already made it past all of the strictest gun-laws in this country.

time for the PEOPLE to shake up the current administration and by that I mean - IMPEACH the loser USURPER and put the 2nd Amendment rights into the hands of every single law-abiding individual in this country.  Perhaps then all those that wish to cause these evils will think twice!

I agree.  It's odd because they said he was at the party, found his target, and then disappeared.
I was at work when the news of this broke.  I had walked into the break room and they had the tv on.  It was chilling to sit there with these people in silence as we watched.  And as new folks came into the room joking and laughing and realized the seriousness in the room and looked at the tv and joined us in silence.  I also noticed a difference in a couple of my co-workers.  One called me after we had both went back to work at it was just odd.  It's like he was scared.  Or like a sign of solidarity in we need to stand together.

Exactly.  If people want to kill they will find a way.  Look at the Boston Bomber.  Are you going to ban pressure cookers?  NO more canning for the ladies in the summer.  What about the drunk that plowed thru a crowd at a parade?  So now we have to ban cars.  And beer.  Because she was drunk.  And roads because she was driving on one.

This shooting was relatively close to my house, so the story is on nonstop on the local news.
I don't see in this case how stricter gun laws would have prevented the male shooter from getting any guns.  Up to this point he was a law-abiding, American citizen who had a well paying job in the government, which meant he already was back-ground checked.

California doesn't have real strict gun laws.  In fact the number 1 hospital in the world for bullet wounds was Martin luther King hospital in Long Beach.  Doctors from all over the world would come to the hospital to learn how to treat gun shot victims.   High gang activity.

Chicago has real strict gun laws & is the murder capital of the United States.  Criminals can get guns.

Just so you know NRA does not sell guns. Store owners do.  Or the criminals by them off the street from others who have stolen them or they stole them selves. These people that did the shooting had 2 pistols that were bought from a store. But the rifles had to come from somewhere else. I believe this was terriorism.  It was deliberately no mentally person here. They knew exactly what they were going to do.  Obama wants all guns taken from everyone and this is what will be going on all over the U.S. There are gun laws on the books that would take care of this problem if only   congress would do it. But no that is not what Obama wants.

California has the strictest gun laws out of any state in US.
