Do You Have A Christmas Budget?
« on: December 01, 2015, 06:31:06 am »
Do you establish a Christmas spending budget and do you stick with it?  I usually have one.  This year I have already went over, but I am going to take a couple small items back.  No "stocking stuffers" this year!

I told my wife we are sticking to a strict budget this year. So far, so good. However, I know what happens within the last few days before Christmas.

I don't buy presents for a lot of people.  I got my bf and mother something and that's it.  I don't have a budget and their presents weren't expensive.

I have a general amount I set for each person on my list. I mainly buy toys now. And that's okay with me.

Now that my sons are grown and their grandmother and dad have passed on we don't do gifts.  We usually just do a great meal with some special treats.  Every year I say maybe next year we'll do gifts but we are on such a strict budget I don't know.  We have a good time either way.  ?????  :present: ?????
