If the procedure wasn't done correctly, the woman could get pregnant. I have also heard of women whose tubes have come "untied." It's rare, but it can happen. Tubal ligations and vasectomies are extremely reliable forms of birth control if you decide your baby-making days are over. The majority of people who have these procedures will not get pregnant/get someone pregnant.

so once the tubes are tied and you do get pregnant then wat is it a tubal pregnancy

A tubal (or ectopic) pregnancy is when the embryo implants in the tube instead of the uterus. As the embryo grows, the tube can rupture.

It is true that they burn the tubes (usually) but as time goes on, the procedure becomes less effective, close to 2% after 10 years.  That being said, the pregnancies don't come to term and they will be ectopic (tubal).  In that case, it is recommended that the pregnancy be terminated to protect the mother's safety.
