Ever heard of putting your Christmas tree up on Christmas Eve?

I would agree I wouldn't see the point by then.  I only have a little tabletop tree now but if I don't/didn't put it up at least a couple of weeks before Christmas I wouldn't bother but everyone has their own traditions so each to their own.

Yes, we've actually done it before, although it's very hectic. Our Christmas season STARTS on Christmas day, and we usually leave the tree up until at least Epiphany, January 6, so the closer to Christmas we put it up, the better.

I know some people who have a hard time getting organized and have done that, but i always felt like what was the point.

Yes I have heard of it...I always wonder why put it up at the last minute.

I've heard of that but I don't do it.  I like doing it after Thanksgiving

Well most people don't usually take it down til New Years so I guess they figured better late than never lol  It's not really about the decorations, it's about sharing the spirit of love so if that tree going up on Christmas Eve makes even one person happy then it was worth it.

My mom has done that before when I was little. I like to put mine up right after Thanksgiving.

Nope never heard of this before and it kinda seems pointless to have it up just for one night. Id rather have it up and enjoy the holiday before christmas eve and even the month mostly

Like many others I have heard of it and know a couple of families who do it as a tradition, still leave it up for the 12 days of Christmas.  Like others have said, you can get a great deal on a Christmas tree the closer it is to Christmas.
