Since we moved to Colorado 2 years ago my aunt has made Thanksgiving dinner. I've had one of those hungry man turkey dinners for Thanksgiving as well and I actually really like it. Never been too fond of pumpkin pie. I usually stick with mashed potatoes, stuffing, and turkey.

We usually go out to eat and go to the movies on this day. It is cheaper and a lot less clean up and work.

I like the traditional Thanksgiving dinner but also have a few courses before hand...hehe
We might throw a pasta dish into the mix as a pre-dinner. Having it at my house this year and it will be potluck style. Everyone is bringing something except for the  turkey of course! lol ...hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving. :)  :turkey:

i used to go all out for Thanksgiving when I hosted. Besides the turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, etc., I would have ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, pumpkin and apple pies and for my PA Dutch people (me included) I would have potato filling and shoo-fly pie, salad with hot bacon dressing.  :turkey:

I would also serve regular bread and rolls.   I would do the same things for Christmas.  :snowman:

We have the traditional dinner. Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, potatoes, gravy, salad, corn, and of course pumpkin pie.

We do the traditional dinner, except we do turkey and ham. We do basically a potluck with everyone bringing the same thing every year.  We also seem to have a few extra people who have no where else to go every year.  A few years when we were to far away to celebrate with family I got a turkey breast instead of a whole turkey...cooked much faster and was a good size for a small group.

I don't like most of the traditional turkey day foods...  In the past, the family enjoyed the traditional holiday foods while I enjoyed cheese/jalapeno pizza.  This year though, all I want is homemade mac & cheese for Thanksgiving.

To me, the meal doesn't really matter. It's all about being with friends and family.

I love most traditional Thanksgiving foods. This year I'm hosting and will be making some traditional favorites (turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes & gravy, cranberry sauce, pumpkin bread, corn, and pumpkin pie) but I've also been exploring adding a few new options. Still trying to sort out what to make but I want to make a few new sides and desserts. Plenty of leftovers for everyone. I'm beginning prep today. :)

We have turkey, but we deep fry the turkey.  No stuffing because we don't like stuffing.  We also have marinated vegetables and broccoli casserole.

Christmas I can go without a turkey but thanksgiving turkey is a must
many of the kids don'tlike turkey so sometimes we also have ham andmac and cheese.
friend of mine have lobster and steak   although those are yummy I would still miss the turkey.
Guess I am rather traditional.
Hope everyone has a great turkey day! :turkey: :turkey:

I'm very traditional - turkey with all the above mentioned food. Everyone brings something. Always a good time!
