Sunday Morning Breakfast
« on: November 01, 2015, 08:49:53 am »
:) Every Sunday morning I make my wife breakfast.
This morning was Sausage patties (2), Egg - over easy, Grits, and Cinnamon/Raisin Bagel.
Served with Honey and Tomato Preserves.

Then I wash the dishes and clean up my mess.

BTW, married 43+ years. I found out a long time ago if I treat her like a Queen, I get treated like a King.  :)

Anyone else do something special for their wife?

My husband does chivalrous things for me like opening the car door among other things. Sometimes even if I get to the car first, I'll wait for him to come and open my door.

That sounds wonderful

More men should learn to be husbands like you. I don't think they realize how much a wife puts into cooking meals and cleaning the house everyday and especially if she works and does all of this.

I always eat what I have on hand.  I work at walmart so some times I have to work on Sunday. :)

I grew up in the age that you took care of your man...so I spoiled my guy. He doesn't cook unless I'm sick and then he goes out to eat.  I sometimes kid him that he should cook for me once-in-a-while because when we were first together and he lived alone, he made fantastic home fries and steak.

i did teach my boys to cook and guess what? They both do the cooking for their families. The wives don't cook very often, especially the one.  My son said he's lucky if she cooks one meal a month. Both of them are fantastic cooks. At least I did something right.  :)

My husband does all the food shopping and all the cooking. He says he is paying me back for when our kids were small and he was gone on business all the time, so he couldn't help with the kids at that time. It makes me feel really pampered to have my meals cooking for me.
