Daylight Savings Time-Fall of 2015
« on: November 01, 2015, 03:08:53 am »
Time to turn the clocks back.

How do you feel about the time change?

I'm neutral.  I've lived in Utah my entire life and I'm accustomed to having it be dark earlier in the fall and winter time.

Have a great day!

I don't mind the fall time change because it gives you an extra hour. I have a hard time adjusting to the spring time change because I hate losing that hour of sleep in the morning. Lucky thing we get adjusted to it pretty quickly.

I wish they would just leave the time alone.  One way or the other.  I don't really care.  Just leave it alone.  It is stupid to change it back and forth.

The extra hour is great, but that is just for one day.  Other than that, I dislike losing Daylight Saving to a great extent.  Another hour of darkness both in the evening and in the morning is the pits!  Then winter follows in a short time.  More pits!!

I forgot all about it until I woke up this morning. I wish it would stay one way and not change.

I remember my mom telling me that decades ago they actually tried a period of not changing to daylight savings, to see how everybody coped with it. It basically meant that all the kids were going to school in the dark! For those kids that walk to school, this was obviously not a good deal. Would you not be worried if you said goodbye to your child at the front door and knew they would be walking for a mile in the dark? That would never do.

I feel like the time changes are so unnecessary. I dont understand what's the real point of doing it.

I love it, seems like an extra hour of sleep so I always look forward to the time falling back in the fall.
