I just don't have any interest in anything
« on: October 27, 2015, 03:01:02 am »
Been going on for the past 2 months. Just don't have any interest in posting on the forum, or making any money doing surveys or watching videos. IOW, I'm in a big slump and this time, I'm having trouble getting back into a rah-rah mood.  I've tried to force myself to do surveys and when qualified, I keep wishing I never did and wish they were over.  I've only earned $7.50 for the 2 months and that's not me! I usually get close to the cash out $$ in 1 month.

Anyone else having this problem? How do you get out of it?

Oh that does sound sad. Perhaps you should take a break and start a hobby or something. There has been times in my life where I have felt a little low and uninterested in life, however I've always found purpose in crafting something or pursuing a hobby. Perhaps you should take a trip to a craft store and see if anything grabs your fancy!

I get moods like that, where I'm just totally burned out with doing surveys and stuff. Usually, I just stay away for a while, and do something else like crafts, or one of my other hobbies. Soon enough, there's something I want to buy, then I remember that I should be doing money making things online to earn the money for whatever it is I need, and then I get back into it.

You are missing this opportunity to make some money. Time is money!

Gotta agree!  Even when I feel burned out, I'll be here to try and make some money.  Sometimes when I feel that way, I'll change it up a little bit.  Instead of sitting at the computer in the morning, I might give myself that break I need to do other things and then log in to FC in the afternoon.  Even if it's just a couple of hours time to yourself to do other things seems to help me.

I have done the same thing in the past.  If I get myself going usually I get motivated!

Just in regards to surveys and stuff? Because I feel like this often with everything due to my depression (think it's more like manic depression because of the drastic mood swings). Either way, I hope you get out of it! Try to do something pleasant and relaxing, and do what you can, when you can, when you feel like it with survey stuff. It does tend to get a little monotonous sometimes.  :pumpkin:

Well sometimes a break can help. Maybe you just need to take off for a few days?

Yep I get like this. I have been working on these sites for about 4 years and you can get burnt out.  It does help to take a little break. I also try to keep myself motivated by thinking of things I am saving for which in my case would be the holidays and vacation next year.

yes, as long as watch the offers not to expire over 6 months.  Maybe listen some radio and get pay while let the mood get better.

Thanks everyone. I felt like I was the only one dealing with this. I no longer have any hobbies because they're expensive to do (crocheting and genealogy). I have been staying away from the sites a lot. I was suspended from one because I didn't realize it was over 30 days but that's okay because I didn't lose much. LOL

I just feel disgusted at times because I'm dependent on hubby to drive me everywhere and I have to conform to his schedule, so I miss out on a lot of grocery shopping deals.   i need to get my new photo license, before mid-November. I had hoped to go today because it's gloomy, raining cats and dogs and windy and I figured that it wouldn't be so full, but he needs to work on his pickup so that's out.  November and December are my hectic months with doctors and tests every week until the end of the year, and I'm running out of a lot of special grocery items that aren't necessary for every day cooking like baking soda, vinegar, taco shells and sauce, etc.

I've been independent all my life and to depend on someone else drives me batty. i guess that's part of my problem.  :sad1:

I know how you feel. Whenever I feel like this, I google motivating quotes, and articles.. I also search on Instagram hashtags for places I want to live, poets, or anything else. I hope this helps. No matter how you feel, get up, get out, show up, and never give up.

From reading this, it looks like you have a talent for expressing yourself an your problem is NOT unique, so why don't you start a blog and share with others who have similar problems? You can even monetize it and pick up some extra cash.

The problem you may find with taking a break (as other suggest) is you may not ever get back.

One thing about your hobbies, being expensive.
Have you thought about using different materials to crochet with, instead of buying new?  You could use old t-shirts, cut up, or even plastic grocery bags.
There is a bunch of church ladies in Georgia that crochet mats for homeless people using plastic grocery bags.

Just an idea.
