October 7, National Flower Day!

The rose is our national flower of the United States. Do you like flowers? Do you like to receive them or give a bouquet? What kind of plants that burst forth with flowers and how many do you have around where you live? I have planted about 10 varieties of plants that help with the honeybees, and learned what nightshade was. I don't know all the names of my plants that I have. Have a gr8 day,

I'm not a big fan of Roses, like them but not my favorite.   Love having fresh flowers in the house or in the garden.  Like you, I want them to help with Honeybees.   Nothing better than pulling into the driveway and seeing flowers in bloom.

I am going to buy flowers for my girlfriend next week when I see her. She lives in VA and I live in PA.

It seems to me that every day is some National Something Day.  There's too many of them.
