Unfortunately I am more of a spender than a saver. However, I have gotten better over the years. The key to me for the longest time was going cash only. Then going to debit only (mainly so I can do returns/exchanges easier and I don't have to hold onto receipts). Credit cards got me into a lot of trouble over the years. I only have one and it is used exclusively for recurring monthly bills. I don't carry the card on me and I pay in full the day the statement comes out.

As for saving, I set up small accounts on Capital One 360 for various things to save for. Emergency fund, "house" (for repairs and unexpected expenses), "car" (for annual registration, emissions and repairs), vacation. I do automatic deposits into the accounts each pay day. It helps to designate the funds I'm saving for!

Works for me!

I love to spend and buy things like online music. Oops! We are in a saving mode now since my hubby had a big cut to his pay. It's all good though. Budget budget budget. :-)

I do both, but when spending I try to budget for what I need and want.

I am a saver and a earner surrounded by three people, in my family, that are spenders. I work at least eighty five hours a week which goes to the family who spends it as fast as they can. I have a third venture that brings in a few hundred dollars a month that gets consumed just as quickly.  I have been driving a scooter to and from my day time job for about six months but am drifting into Colorado snow season.  I have started looking for a car/jeep/truck in the two thousand dollar range because I do not want to take a loan out. My wife has a three hundred and fifty dollar payment for her car, My daughter has a three hundred dollar payment for her car and my son totaled his car last month-no more payment.

I wouldn't say that I am a saver, I would say that I am a get out of debt spender.

I try to be a saver, but lately it seems like every time I manage to save any up something happens to make me have to spend it.

I'm more of a saver but my hubby is more of a spender. I try to save any spare cash but it ends up going some place else.

I'm definitely a saver but I have spending binges where it seems I purchase a lot of things in a short period of time but I'm cheap and definitely like to save more.

I'm mostly a saver. My online money making routine keeps growing.

I'm a bit of both. It all depends on what I really want.

I have a hard time saving money but I can do it, but then I save a whole lot and then spend it way faster than I saved it.
