Do you eat cherries?
« on: September 24, 2015, 09:59:57 am »
I love cherries and I want two large cherry trees in my backyard. Cherries is a fruit that is useful for your body. If you enjoy cherries, you must absolutely love this day. Have you tried Cherries Jubilee? I never ordered Cherries Jubilee in a restaurant. Here, cherry season is over,so homemakers have to have cooked them. I saw Cherries Jubilee to be an wonder in TV shows. Make today as sweet as a cherry because, September 24th is:
National Cherries Jubilee Day!

I do eat them fresh or in cherry pie but have never had cherries jubilee.  I had an Uncle that had a cherry orchard in Michigan but lost touch with him many years ago.  He also had a turkey farm which is off the subject lol.  I think I am going to have to try cherries jubilee.  I love cherries so I am sure I would like it.

Love cherries, especially Ranier Cherries.  I'd love to have a couple of Cherry trees, myself!

I like the cherries you buy at the grocery store when they are in season,  but I don't like the cherries that are sweet in the jar or the chocolate covered cherries.

I dont eat them that often, they are expensive, and I could eat a whole bag full!! When I do buy them I usually eat them all within 2 days

I like cherries.  They're expensive so I only buy them when they are on sale.

Sweet cherries are my favorite fruit. I don't have them too often though ,except when they are in season, because they are expensive. I wish we had cherry trees, but they don't grow well around here, because it's too cold.

I like them but I buy them for hubby. They're good to keep gout in check. Every year I go to the "produce store" when they're in season. I can get them for as low as $1.49/lb.  I've tried freezing them. The info I had said they would be soft but would still be flavorful. Hubby says no.

When cherries are out of season, I buy the canned versions for him and I make cherry pie for him (I'm partial to blueberry pie). :)

I never really liked them too much. Only if they are in a milk shake or some other type of desert.
