What If This Happened to You

I often imagine growing white feathery wings like an angel, and that I would fly, and someone would manage to reach my wings while I would be flying (no matter how high) and tear them off and make me fall and land on concrete (and maybe even imprison me). Why do I imagine that? Because no human will let me out of the county alone that I grew up in.

Yes, that does seem like an odd dream. Do you feel like your wings have been clipped in some way, metaphorically speaking? Parents didn't support your career? Boyfriend seems to undermine you? A sister or friend is stifling you? It probably comes from something that is worrying you, even if it is not directly related to your dream. I used to have dreams for years where I was running away from someone, but I never knew who I was running away from in my dream. In real life however, my very first boyfriend kept bothering me after we broke up and for the longest time he wouldn't accept that we were over.

If I understand your post correctly it sounds like you lack freedom and independence, but imagine liberating yourself.  It appears that you fear that if you liberate yourself someone will catch you and stop you. 

I had a similar need/desire when I was growing up and imagined getting my freedom scenarios too.  When I got old enough I was able to start moving in that direction, but physical distance turned out to be only part of the solution.  There was a lot of mental work that had to go with it.

You didn't tell us your age or why you're not allowed out of the county so...  Remember that you alone are in control of your mind and what you imagine so imagine you can dodge anyone who tries to grab your wings.  You might also try imagining a more realistic scenario and how happy you'll feel when it comes true.  That's how you can manifest it into reality.

I'm 31 years old and still don't have a driver's license and find it unfair to have to pay for so many driving lessons. Does that make sense as of what I introduced in this discussion?
