I think it sound yummy.  I would also do that from time to time, but mostly I've added some ground beef in it.

Yes I have, I also use the store bought sauce for a base to add beef or turkey, other vegetables.

No.  I have to have meat in my spaghetti sauce.  To me it is not good without the meat.  I can eat baked zita with just plain spaghetti sauce and cheese.

I used to but I am trying to eat healthier so I make my own. It's not hard. I make it in a slow cooker  and serve it with whole wheat spaghetti and turkey sausage. Freeze left overs for a quick meal. :D

If I'm in a hurry or lazy then I do.  When I have the time and produce on hand I make my own sauce.

In my days of bachelorhood, I spent many dinner nights with pasta and Ragu.  EASY to make and clean up, and I could just let the pasta boil in the stove unattended while I watched SportsCenter or PTI on TV!  Then I met and married an Italian girl who has the family's secret recipe.  The sauce takes an entire day to make and I've never tasted anything better -- even in the authentic Italian restaurants!  Her sauce calls for both beef and pork and would be missing some major flavor components without the meat!

I think I've only had Ragu sauce 2 or 3 times over the past decade. (Our 10th Anniversary is this coming Thursday!)

I normally don't use meat in my spaghetti. We use it as a meatless day.
