Adult Coloring Books
« on: September 13, 2015, 03:26:21 pm »
Last night I spent some time with friends and we decided to do some coloring.  There are a lot of adult coloring books available, now.

How does an adult coloring book differ from children's coloring books?

Adult coloring books have patterns with more intricate designs and they are used for stress relief and therapeutic reasons.

Also, you can use colored markers, colored pencils or crayons.

Do you think you would enjoy coloring as an adult?

Have a great day!

Yes, I do think I would enjoy that. I saw some of the adult coloring books you describe in my local bookstore recently and thought they might be fun to work on. But they were very expensive and I decided I wouldn't really have the time to color them properly. The designs were very intricate and looked tough to color in.

I have an adult coloring book. I haven't colored in it in a while but I enjoy it. Great for anxiety, gives you something else to focus on.

A lady bought dozens of boxes and she said they were for adults and told me to try it before I knock it.

I used to love to color when I was a kid and many times I thought about buying a children's coloring book and crayons just to color for fun.  Now that there are adult coloring books available I would enjoy that very much.  A great way to relax and relieve some stress.

I think it is silly and a waste of time.  Why not put your extra time into making money on the computer?  i find that relaxing!

I don't think colouring would be for me.  I rather stick to puzzle and word games.
