How are you dealing with the Michigan heat & humidity?
« on: September 08, 2015, 03:10:02 am »
I am not a fan of heat, so I have been in doors while I am on vacation. The heat is to much for me. Also using the
air conditioner a lot more.

I deal with Michigan's heat and humidity by staying as far away from the Midwest as possible.  I moved to Colorado where it is desert like and dry...virtually free from humidity and bugs the size of Chihuahuas! I have to go back in the middle of October which is fine because Spring and Fall in the Midwest are the most beautiful times to visit and the chances for hot, humid weather are minimal. I am taking my daughter to see a Big Ten college football game and National Football league game and then we will have a day all to ourselves for eating and checking out the Midwestern beauty. This will be my first trip with my daughter...my wife always took care of my daughter's sports and I always covered my son's activities.

By staying in California?
It's hot here too, but thankfully very low humidity.  :)

With Michigan you just never know what you're going to get! So when it's too hot I just stay inside!

I am in Fort Myers Florida.
It's hot, sticky and humid most of the year, from June to November.
This year, we have had a record amount of rainfall, day after day.

Stay indoors, open the windows on the shady side of the building, use a fan and take a cooling down shower, if needed. Visit your local buildings with air conditioning.
