Labor Day is one of those holidays that has the strangest name since some people have the day off from work.

My son is working today so some is should happy to have a job day, they are giving holiday pay and they love him there.

In observance of not laboring on Labor Day, we are going to hike the State Park.  Wildflowers are in bloom and the heat and humidity have dissipated.  Should be a nice day.

Sounds like fun!  I was thinking of doing the same thing today!  We like to get down to the river and "rock hop" along the rocks to see how far we can without needing to get onto the bank.

not doing much today,,,,  other half has to work all day, so I'm enjoying day by my self    think a little reading on the porch might just be a good idea.  its nice out,,,  a small breeze blowing,,,  Beautiful

      It is the end of the world. Just...kidding! It is the end of summer and the end of tourist season in some parts of the world. I think that is the reason they named it "Labor Day".
