Yea happy August back to everyone else.  This is my birthday month although because of health issues I don't feel as happy about that as usual - I am 61 going on 62 and usually even at this age I get excited about my birthday.  It is toward the end of the month so I'm sure the closer it gets the happier I get so I'm sure I'll get out of the doldrums by then.

It would be better if it wasn't so hot during July and hoping August isn't as bad. Our family reunion was Saturday and wish the bathroom was closer to the pavilion. It must be 1000 feet away or more and it exhausted me to walk there and back with my plantar fasciitis on the good left foot and knee problem on the right leg. 

You know you're getting old when your cousins talk to you about their health problems...and they're 15-20 years younger than I am!  So I feel like I"m pretty healthy!

Happy August,  the last full month of summer. Have fun and enjoy it!!

This is the hottest month here in Texas. It reached 100 yesterday and will get up to 102 sometime this week. Love the AC! Of course the electric bills are highest right now. Have to sweat a little. But it will soon be over and comfortable again. Fall is great for temps. BMaston12

Happy August to everyone too!  Not looking forward to summer being over, I hate the cold, snow, ice, etc!

Time is moving so fast. Kids here start to school August 17th. Yea hubby goes back to work. Don't get me wrong I love him but 24/7  is hard. It has been so hot here and we have having a lot of rain on top of it. Here it is the 3rd. of August and we have already had over 3" of rain. The air is so humid and the weeds just keep popping up to be pulled and or mowed down.  I am ready for a little bit of cool weather. The AC'S run all day long. But the nights cool down quite a bit.

The kids go back to school next week.  Some schools already are back in session.  It is crazy the begining of August and home work  yuckkkkkkkkkk.
