Bless your heart! I am in fact a woman but I totally agree with your sentiment. There are some bad examples of dad's out there but thankfully, I had the best dad in the world before he passed away. Now my husband is probably the best dad in my kids eyes! Happy Father's Day to all Dads!

I don't think anyone who has a good father is going to not recognize their father because other fathers are dead beats.  And while I agree there are a lot of dead beat fathers there are also a lot of dead beat mothers.

I also don't think it is fair to call a father a dead beat when the judge gives him one and a half days twice a month (every other weekend) with the kid and then expects him to be father of the year.

And lastly, I feel it is just as much the mother's fault as the father.  People (both men and women) sleep around.  And yes if you have had multiple sex partners that is what it is called.  It's nothing these days for a woman to have 3 or more kids and all of them have a different father.
