My Dad used to love apple pie! My dad passed away 8 years ago but your comment really made me smile to recall my own dad with a big piece of apple pie and ice cream in front of him. For him, apple pie was like having all your birthdays arrive on the same day!

absolutly nothing....
My father sorta just bailed when i was born.. so..
I don't think he deserves a father's day from me..
Now maybe he has other kid's that just might...
But as for me.. I am doing absolutly nothing on that that
that pretains to fathers (:

That sounds good, I didn't even get my dad a present this year, I feel bad about it.

We will be going home to the parent's home....we have our annual family picnic on Saturday.
We get to drive Dad's restored John Deere tractors once we go the farm.
We will go to church with Mom and Dad on Sunday.

On our way home (3 hour drive) I hope to stop with my husband in a resort lake town for some relaxing

My father died when I was sixteen, fifty-three years ago.  I was his only child and I do wish he could be here to know my children and their children.  He would be proud!  I will be visiting my mother on Father's day, who will be 105 in less than three months!!!!  (My mom never remarried)

Unfortunately my father has dementia, but we're still going to celebrate Father Day with a nice cake. He loves cake.

Nothing much, my father died when I was 2.  My girls will come over and we will cook out and I know they got their dad something.
