Breakfast
« on: June 14, 2015, 03:46:28 am »
What do you like to eat on Sunday for breakfast?

I like grits or hash browns along with bacon and or sausage with rolls
Or toast. I eat waffles a few times a year, but rarely eat pan cakes at all.

I do not like eggs, I like cereal, but I do not drink milk.

I usually have Special K with red berries or a packed=full omelette (ham, cheese, potatoes). The omelette fills me up so much, I don't need anything until supper.

I like chipped beef and gravy with biscuits on Sunday.

When I was in the Army they called that S.O.S. (only with burnt toast instead of biscuits).

I very seldom eat breakfast on any day of the week...usually I get up, fix breakfast for my son and then I get around to eating usually around lunch time.

I like eggs, pancakes, beacon, tator totes, or hasbrowns, or a mexican breakfast with eggs, beans, chilaqiles, quesadillas, or a breakfast burrito.

There is a saying: "Eat like a king for breakfast, a queen for lunch and a pauper for dinner." Eat More Veggies For Breakfast.

On Sunday I get up early to study for my bible study class at church.  Then I pick up Grandma so we can get to church by 9:00.  We often have brunch after church.  It typically is our big meal for the day.

A good old smoothie. That's been my breakfast lately, and it fills me up well.

I like making a good home cooked breakfast on Sundays, it's a day off for me so there's more time to relax.

I use to always skip breakfast but I got older and wiser and realized if I ate a protein packed breakfast  I didn't get hungry thru out the day.  So I do either a quick omelet in the microwave or greek yogurt smoothie.
