Do you call in sick a lot at your place of employment?

Only if I am sick, that is what it is for, not to call out and you are not sick.  I know, some people do.

I call in sick once in a while, I try no to since my vacation time and my sick days are the same.  The more I call in sick the less vacation days I have

No I do not call in sick a lot at work.  I cannot remember the last time I ever had to either, which is GREAT!  I am grateful for my good health.

The job I have presently, there is no calling in unless it is an extreme emergency.

I very rarely call in sick.  My boss knows good and well that if I call in sick...I am really sick.

I am retired, but when I was in the work full time, I did not; I worked in education and enjoyed my work for the most part and viewed calling in sick only when I truly which was rare in all my years as an educator and then administrator, I think the most time I had off was when I had surgery and had no choice but to be home until released to go back to work.

  I was exactly the same way when I was in the work force.  I liked most of my jobs and the ones I didn't like, I did not stay there very long.

I've only called out sick once in the six and 1/2 years I've been there and it wasn't for me it was my mother who was in the hospital.

Want to hear something hilarious?  We all got an email this past week saying "we need to make sure we are only working the hours we are scheduled for".  I could only shake my head.  Then DON"T CALL ME and ask me to come in to work on my DAY OFF when everyone you schedule refuses to come in because they would rather lay by the pool under the guise of being sick.
