why isn't anyone answering my thread topic? Just curious, so I can modify for future preference.

If you put the topic you're trying to discuss (ex. surveys not crediting, vacation spots, etc.) in the subject line, perhaps people would be more willing to respond. I agree "why" is not a topic.

Are you talking about threads you start?  Could be your topic as well.  I have seen several that have 20 plus views and no comments.  It was not a question just a general statement.  I also tend to not even click on threads with a weird subject line.

Okay, I am answering it. But what is the topic really? How do you respond to Why? Explain what the topic is about. Like why something. So Why what?

List something of interest to people in the subject line and they will be more apt to open it and respond.

Why what?  You need a better topic so people will know what you want them to answer for you.  This is too general and people do not know how to answer.

Thanks, I learned a lot. Not that I don't know why is not a topic, I just thought it would spark an interest. I click on how, why, when  all the time, That's me!

Clickers look at it this way.You got more responses to a topic that made no sense then to some that make sense...LOL!!
