remembering a line from a song

Some situations come up that make you think of a song or a few lines from one. Sometimes, I find myself wondering what song it is. Yesterday, I was wondering who a visitor was and thought "who are you ....who who ....I really want to know."  Most every song start with thoughts.

Im always hearing bits and pieces of a song, usually something on tv, and write it down while I think about it, and later I google it, sometimes they are very hard to find, but most the time google finds it for me

Yesterday when making a grocery list, I started singing the song from The Sound Of Music...

"Those...are..ah...few...of...my...favorite...things!"

I have those experiences quite often. It's usually a fun experience for me, unless the song or association is crummy. haha

That song was written by Pete Townsend when he met Sid Vicious for the first time....  He couldn't quite figure Sid out (like the rest of us....).
