shoelaces
« on: May 08, 2015, 08:22:12 am »
there are many different styles.
there are many colors to choose from too.
The shoes I bought had laces that were probably laced up by machine.
they were tightly laced.
I asked a friend to undo them so I could put them through the holes right side up.

I have gotten to where I like to buy shoes that don't have to be laced up!
Have a wonderful day!

In my opinion i only prefer shoelaces if they are shoelace headphones. I only own one pair of tennis shoes( i know that's weird for a girl right)  i'm more of a sandal type person.. :)

Velcro was popular back in the 80's as an alternative to laces but the fad didn't stick for one reason or other. I'd prefer velcro over laces on some sneakers or just the kind you slip on like Gaylasue mentioned above, those have a neat look to them!

I don't even untie my shoes anymore I just slip them off and on unless I'm going to the gym and they feel loose. If I could I would wear flip flops all the time.

My shoelaces keep on untying...it happens so often that I sometimes dont bother tying them...and let it go. I think I need velcro shoes.

I rarely wear tennis shoes anymore, but both pair have laces. prefer sandals . Wear flip flops at home or go barefoot.  But slip the flip flops on to go outside. Easy on easy off. At my age anything easy is a joy. But guess I will start wearing tennis shoes  in the evening  Doctors have told hubby he needs to do more walking at least 4-5 times a week. I have been at him for quite a while to do it. ow that the doc. has told him maybe he will get up and go. Both need it.

I prefer velcro closures or clogs myself, bu I saw a new innovation called Hickies.  They connect two lace holes each and you can put them on in different ways to adjust fit or appearance.

I do not like shoelaces. Now, I wear slip-on shoes.
