I agree with most of you I think first degree murders should get the death penalty. KIillers do not give no mercy to the victims so why should we?? Yea most killers do not even suffer the pain their victims went through!!!

If you kill them quicker the only thing you'll get is that he's gone but for them it's their way of saying I beat you because I've got the easy way out.  They will always win when you give them the short death.

And do you want to pay for the appeals in court when he is going through death row...Isn't that giving him more time and costing us more if he does win?

Handing them a ticket out of their life and out of having to face their own thoughts (in solitary confinement) is more merciful than anything.  They shouldn't get an easy way out.  Do you think he wants to live the rest of his life in prison?  Probably not.  Do you think he would rather die?  Probably.  Why give him what he wants (especially when the costs are now cheaper to keep him in prison rather than lethal injection)?
