This isn't a joke.  It's a tragedy that such nonsense and foolish fear still exists in modern society.  The idea that a child's guardians would use fear mongering tactics like demons appearing is ridiculous.  That child should have been removed from the household immediately.

There's been a single mention of God outside of your post, and that other mention was fairly arbitrary.  Who is "talking bad" about God in this thread?

The devil doesn't have me confused in the least, as the devil is unlikely to exist.

Also, I think if you say the word Demon they might appear because it is like you are summoning them and they hear it.

How nonsensical, silly myths like this still exist in modern thinking has me more confused than anything =(

everything thought of exists somehow, somewhere. What we should be most concerned about as individuals is if love dominates our thoughts and hence our actions. Negativity exists to teach us to love, hence we should not hate it for even a split second because that would only attract it towards you.  Fear is its medium and you only give it its powers  . when you know who you are, your potential and unlimited power you would see how silly it is to think or exercise fear.

I actually think the same thing as you, jusu-- that demon is just a word encompassing our negative traits we fight to overcome. But I think liljp made the point earlier that we're talking about physical manifestations of demons (satan, cthulhu, imps, etc.).
