i have never been on an airplane and will never be.  i have a huge fear of flying and dont care to put my life in a pilots hands.

My daughter and I took a trip to Hawaii last September.  That was the first time I had been on a plane since I was 5 years old.  It was a little scary being on the planes for so long but the anticipation of what was waiting for me was well worth it.  Can't say as much for the trip home, though.

Last 2 years ago and this coming November I will going back to visit my moms 80th birthday and need to be in the plane for almost 21 hours.

When was the last time you took a trip via airplane? I have not been on a plane since I
was very young and I am to this day uncomfortable with heights.

I love flying...quicker to get back home and to see family in Fla. so last time was 2yrs. ago flying back home and will probably be doing the same this summer

Haven't been on a plane in years myself and dread the day when I will again. It isn't safe, costs too much money, passengers are treated like cattle, the pilots are drunk or asleep or both and your belongings have a good chance of being stolen by those who load the luggage into the cargo hold. What good reason to travel by death trap, I mean plane is there??? Sure it's fast but when you don't live through the experience, what's the point???

I don't remember when I was on an airplane, but I remember when my husband got an airplane to fly to Colorado right after 911 scared the s*** out of me!

Half of my family is from Sweden so I have grown up going on planes so it isn't too scary for me.  Try not to think about the actual being that high in the air thing, I know it's hard.  Airplanes are safer than cars ?  Don't know if that helps either? lol Good Luck!

I've never been on a plane, neither has my husband, but I've had dreams of being on a plane. Hopefully, I'll get the nerve to try because I want to travel more, and some places are too far too drive.
