I like to reuse containers. I use my honey jar for Kimchee when it's empty.
I use my Aerogarden nutrients squirt bottle for another liquid.
I was half finished with my avocado oil and found a need for the bottle.

I like to reuse the glass bottles, I keep a few of the Ragu, the small ones from roasted peppers or relish and from pickles, glass conserves better certain things but I do throw away the plastic ones must of them anyways I might keep some of the butter ones they are good for freezing.

I don't keep very many but I do keep the margarine ones for storage and freezing.  I almost never keep the glass containers.

I keep a few around for storage, I also keep gallon glass jars from a restaurant here in town  to store my sugar and dry goods in. I buy some items like the sugar and store it so that when I start making jelly or something I alwys have it on hand and the way prices are going up I might not be able to afford it later. Who knows

I also like to reuse containers but I've come to realize you have to label them properly don't you. The other day I reused a squirty container to put some medication in that my dog was using. (The squirt function on the original med bottle was not working properly). It was some kind of anti-bacterial, anti-fungal medication however once it was in its' new container, it looked just like water. I feared if I didn't label it correctly, my husband might mist my house plants with it!

Yes, you have to label properly.  LOL  I use the containers a few times, you can use them to send things home with people and don't have to worry about getting your container back.

I reuse every container that I can! I have started buying my lunch meat in containers (if they are priced inexpensively). I turn empty jars into candles. I grab every single aluminum can or scrap that I can and take it back once a year.  I usually average about five cans a day which comes out to about forty dollars a year if I add additional scrap (filing cabinets, romex electrical wire, old microwave casings). I crush every can so as to take up as little room as possible. I also drive my bicycle or scooter to work (four miles away) so as to leave as small of a carbon print as possible while saving on gas at the same time. To find a loose coin can totally rock my day! I even use an aluminum water bottle every day rather than using plastic.

I re-use my quart sized honey jars to make apple cider vinegar. I use the pint-sized peanut butter jars (glass) as drinking glasses.
I've gotten rid of most of the plastic containers and use either glass or stainless steel.

I use to but lately I just throw them away.  I have too much clutter.  I do like to have some containers - plastic - if I need to take something some where and not need to worry about getting the container back.  You can also get the Glad containers for a couple of dollars.  I took food to a family member in one of those last week.

I like to reuse just about all types of containers, bags or whatever.  I reuse plastic lunch meat containers to store leftovers all the time.  I can't even remember the last time I actually bought a storage container.

I'm definitely a container person, but most of mine are shoe and sweater boxes because they are stackable and square.  I used to have a walk-in pantry and re-use cat food jugs for beans and pasta, but then I had to move and they left too much wasted space around them.  I replaced them with shoe boxes and get more on my narrow kitchen shelves.  It makes a pretty decor element to see these neatly stacked containers of flour, grains, beans, etc. 

My mom wasted our counter space with cleaned, glass jars draped with washed foil and plastic bags, but she didn't do much to reuse them. 

I reuse some plain containers and recycle the rest.  I'd like to get away from so many plastics since we're learning that they may not be so safe.  I get organic Mara Nantha peanut butter in glass jars with nice gold lids.  The labels come off easily so I'm collecting them for reuse.  I'm not sure for what yet, but they're too nice to toss.  Hobby Lobby sells jars like that for crafting. 

I also save some bottles, like the triangular ones from salad dressing for decorating purposes.

I have some ball jars that had jelly in them that I've used for other things. I've bought fresh herbs and was trying to figure out what to put them in and remembered I had the glass jars, so I used those.
