Flying is best if the distance is long.  It takes less time.

Depends on where we are going. I would love to take the Alcan highway and go to Alaska, Just living in a motor home for a couple of months and see all the sights between here and there. But if going to Ohio I would fly and rent a car when I got there. Seen all of the country going already.

Public transportation if possible...too many crazy drivers and too much traffic....so much less stressful and better for the environment to let others transport me around...ironically, when I was younger, all I wanted to do was drive!

I guess it depends where I am going.  In general I prefer driving for obvious reasons.  But if it is far enough I have no problem flying.

It depends on where we are going.  If it's somewhat close, driving, but if it's a distance we will fly.

It depends on where I am going. When I visit my younger daughter who lives about an hour away I like to drive my car, because it isn't far and the driving conditions aren't too terrible. When I visit my older daughter who lives about 200 miles away I like to take the bus and have her pick me up at the bus station because the drive is really nerve-wracking. In general, I prefer to walk and take public transportation over taking my car places. It forces me to get exercise walking and usually it's cheaper than taking the car too.

It depends when I am going, last time i flew back to the Philippines. If just from another state we prefer to drive.

Depends on where I'm traveling.  If it's nearby I'll drive.  If it's far away, I'll fly.  I've never taken a train, but have thought about doing so someday.

I like to travel by car.  You can take your time and see everything.  I flew to Fla.  7 years ago.  That is because I had to go by myself and did not want that long drive.  That was the first and last time I have been on a plane.  It was awesome.  Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless you and keep you safe.

I want to drive myself. When I travel, I want to see all the sights. Look at the scenery and breathe in the air. Take in the smells and watch the sun move over the land. Enjoy every moment getting there. But of course pay attention to my driving. BMaston12
