Grocery shopping

Last  Night about 8pm we went grocery shoppinp to pick up a few things
and pn the way back i noticed how much more tired i  was because we don't normally
go shopping so late. I started reflecting on when i was a lot younger and
I use to leave out about that time to go party til late in the morning.

I know i cannot do that now. I get real tired and to much pain. Lol


Do you grocery shop late in the evening these days?

I don't go late but I go super early to beat the crowds.

I usually go in late morning.  I do know what you mean about going out late, when I was younger we started our nights out around 9 pm, now at that time I'm settled in watching TV and would never think of starting my night out.  It's not fun getting old!

  Shop at night? Not at my age. Can't see well enough to drive at night. Too many deer out to run into the car.

I don't think any of us who are older can do what we use to.  When I was much younger, we would start partying on Wednesday thru Sunday and was able to rise on Monday to go to work.  If I tried that today, I would end up at the hospital.  LOL  Those were some good times.

We do a big shopping trip once a month during the afternoon, and then I make periodic (once a week) stops after I get off work at 10pm,

Do most of my shopping mid morning and then go have lunch and then it is time for doctors appointments or it is the other way around just depends. We drive 80 miles one way to see a doctor or even more depending where I am going. So all shopping and doctors are done in one day and then back home. Long days. But I save so much shopping in a big town compared to our little store. I only go there if I need ice, bread and milk, sometimes a little something else but that is it. I also keep my pantries full as you never know in the winter if we will get to go out of town. Freezer also.

I dont have a routine. I shop when I feel up to it and or am completely out of everything. I prefer shopping at night at the local mart bc no crowds and right around the corner, but it costs more.

I like shopping late at night, just before the store is ready to close.  I don't have to deal with crowds and I'm a night person so it works out very, very well for me.

Me too I like shopping late at night less people you don't to wait on line for a long time.

I wouldn't mind doing my grocery shopping at night as it is less crowds to deal with but I don't like driving at night when it's dark so I do all my grocery shopping mid morning.

Only if I need something very last minute that I will go in the evening.  Otherwise I rather go in the morning.

i try to do it in the middle of the afternoon..i have to take a back pill before going because my back is killing me when i get home

I try to go grocery shopping in the morning or afternoon when things are better stocked.

No I honestly don't think my body could hold up to that the older I get the faster I tire out
