Would you recommend the Verizon Bundle?

Does anyone here have the Verizon bundle? Or Direct TV?
Verizon is offering this triple-play bundle that includes tv, internet & phone for like 79.99 a month. Now I already have verizon for my phone + internet (bill's around $45 a month including internet) but have always had charter (paying around $70 a month) so I am a little concerned about getting Direct TV. I've heard good things about dish network but don't really know anyone that has Direct Tv so I wanted to ask if you guys have any experience with direct tv. 
If you have direct tv how do you like their service? Are you happy with them? Should I order this package?

I didn't like direct tv at all. After 3 months, my fees just jumped like crazy. I've been with charter for about a year now and my fees don't jump or anything either. I cable and internet together for 89.99, which I think is a steal when I have over 275 channels too. If you have charter already, just stick with them.

I don't have the bundle, but I have had DirectTV HD for over 5 years now and have never had a rate increase or any problems whatsoever.  Dohc - maybe it's where you live and that's why the rates jumped...I'd be miffed too!

I've been getting mixed reviews from a lot of people that I asked today. Some people love it some hate it and nothing in between I have no idea what to do.

of course you're gonna get mixed reviews. everyone has different needs, preferences, and lives in different areas. what i would do is call each provider and ask all the questions you have and then compare your results. personally, i don't bundle because i hate verizon (they never send me a bill and have made it impossible for me to access my account online) and because, in my area, the internet service through directv is ridiculously expensive. but directv is good for cable services, i've had them for 3 years now with no rate changes at all, never have problems with my system, and have over 400 channels (100 in HD) for about $74 a month.
